Gerak Cepat, Erick Thohir Apresiasi Kejagung Bereskan Korupsi Krakatau Steel (KRAS)

EmitenNews.com – Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir mengapresiasi langkah cepat dan tegas Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) merespons kasus korupsi blast furnace. Kasus korupsi proyek pembangunan Fasilitas Pabrik Tungku Peleburan Besi Baja PT Krakatau Steel (KRAS) itu menyeruak sejak 2011. 

Sinergitas antara BUMN, Kejagung, dan seluruh aparatur hukum bagian dari pembenahan tata kelola perusahaan. ”Ini tidak sekadar penindakan hukum, melainkan bagian tak terpisahkan dari pembenahan tata kelola BUMN makin baik,” tutur Erick.

Sinergitas BUMN dan Kejagung dalam kasus blast furnace itu, membuktikan komitmen restrukturisasi total Krakatau Steel. Erick optimistis langkah itu selaras dengan makin baiknya Krakatau Steel dalam menjalankan roda organisasi. ”Ini momentum baik untuk meningkatkan performa seiring makin baiknya performa Krakatau Steel,” ujar Erick.

Erick menegaskan penindakan hukum profesional oleh Kejagung akan mendorong terciptanya ekosistem bisnis sehat. Itu terutama bagi investor yang ingin berinvestasi. ”Jadi, tidak perlu khawatir bagi setiap pelaku bisnis. Ada jaminan bisnis berlangsung secara fair, dan transparan. Begitupun dengan kepastian hukum karena sudah terbukti bagaimana profesionalitas Kejagung,” ucap Erick. 

Erick berharap seluruh proses berjalan lancar, dan tidak mengganggu aktivitas Krakatau Steel. ”Semoga kasus ini cepat tuntas sehingga Krakatau Steel kembali fokus meningkatkan kinerja positif, berkontribusi bagi kemajuan Indonesia,” harap Erick.

Sementara itu, Direktur Utama Krakatau Steel Silmy Karim menyatakan menghormati proses hukum yang tengah dilakukan Kejagung. ”Kami mempercayakan kasus ini tertangani dengan baik, dan mendukung proses hukum sedang berjalan di Kejagung,” kata Silmy.

Kegiatan usaha perusahaan tetap berlangsung lancar, dan tidak terganggu dengan proses hukum tersebut. ”Kami berharap proses hukum memberikan pelajaran untuk menjadi lebih baik,” tegas Silmy. (*)
