Bank Mandiri (BMRI) Sebut Belum Berencana Naikkan Suku Bunga Kredit

EmitenNews.com  – Direktur Utama PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Darmawan Junaidi menyatakan pihaknya belum berencana melakukan penyesuaian terhadap suku bunga kredit setelah Bank Indonesia menaikkan suku bunga acuan sebesar 75 basis poin (bps) menjadi 4,25 persen.

“Dari sisi profitabilitas kita belum tentu menaikkan suku bunga secara serta merta di kredit karena saat ini secara target kita sudah berada di level ditargetkan untuk baki debet kredit,” katanya dalam Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) bersama Komisi XI DPR RI di Jakarta, Rabu (28/9).

Tak hanya suku bunga kredit, Darmawan mengaku Bank Mandiri juga belum berencana menaikkan suku bunga dana tabungan dan deposito dalam waktu dekat.

Hal tersebut mengingat Bank Mandiri optimis bahwa kinerja hingga akhir tahun tidak akan terpengaruh dengan tingkat suku bunga.

“Kita tidak perlu berlomba-lomba bersaing dengan menaikkan suku bunga dana supaya dana itu pindah ke kita,” tegasnya.

Ia mengaku yakin bahwa Bank Mandiri masih mampu mencapai kinerja sesuai yang ditargetkan tahun ini meski terbayang oleh potensi ketidakpastian tahun depan.

Darmawan menjelaskan tantangan perseroan terletak pada 2023 karena Bank Indonesia masih akan terus menaikkan suku bunga acuan dan The Federal Reserve pun berpotensi gencar menaikkan The Fed Funds Rate.
