Bayar Utang, Krakatau Steel (KRAS) Jual 93 Bidang Tanah Rp1,13 Triliun

EmitenNews.com – Krakatau Steel (KRAS) menuntaskan transaksi afiliasi Rp1,13 triliun. Itu berupa penjualan 93 bidang tanah 1.665.103 meter persegi (m2) kepada Krakatau Sarana Infrastruktur (KSI). Aset tanah tersebut terletak di Kota Cilegon, dan Kabupaten Serang, Banten. 

Penjualan di Kota Cilegon, sebanyak lima bidang tanah seluas 584.946 m2 senilai Rp917,64 miliar. Lalu, di Kabupaten Serang ada 88 bidang tanah seluas 1.080.157 m2 sejumlah Rp219,52 miliar. 

Transaksi itu dilakukan dengan pertimbangan untuk melakukan rencana transformasi bisnis. Dana hasil transaksi itu, untuk pemenuhan kewajiban pembayaran sebagian utang berdasar perjanjian kredit (PK) restrukturisasi pada 30 September 2019 Tranche B senilai USD524 juta. Utang itu, akan jatuh tempo semula pada September 2022, kini telah diperpanjang menjadi Desember 2023. 

Alasan lain, perseroan ingin melakukan optimalisasi aktiva tetap berupa tanah. Dengan pemindahtanganan aktiva tetap itu, perseroan lebih fokus pada bisnis utama yaitu bidang industri besi, dan baja. KSI dapat mengoptimalkan tanah tersebut menjadi cash generation dengan memanfaatkan untuk mendukung usaha bidang Kawasan industri, dan real estate.

Dengan hasil dana Rp1,13 triliun itu, perseroan dapat memanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kewajiban pokok kepada kreditur PK restrukturisasi. Mengurangi beban keuangan seiring pembayaran kewajiban pokok Tranche B kepada kreditur PK Restrukturisasi. Meningkatkan kinerja, menunjang kelanjutan program restrukturisasi, transformasi, dan aksi korporasi lainnya. (*)
