Buy Back Hari Ini, Mitratel (MTEL) Siapkan Dana Rp1 Triliun

EmitenNews.com – PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) hari ini 2 Juni 2022 mulai melakukan pembelian kembali saham alias buy back dengan menyiapkan dana sebanyak-banyaknya Rp1 triliun.

VP Investor Relation PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) Christy Kusumaatmaja dalam keterangan resmi Kamis (2/6) menjelaskan, pembatasan harga pembelian saham sebesar maksimum Rp 801 per saham. pembelian kembali saham diharapkan dapat menstabilkan harga saham dalam kondisi pasar yang fluktuatif, selain memberikan keyakinan kepada investor atas nilai saham Perseroan secara fundamental.

Pembelian kembali saham itu tidak butuh persetujuan Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham, karena berlandaskan Pasal 1 angka 1 huruf b POJK 2/2013, yaitu dengan cara menerbitkan SEOJK 3/2020 yang merupakan stimulus perekonomian dan mengurangi dampak pasar yang berfluktuasi secara signifikan karena kondisi perdagangan sebagaimana dimaksud, OJK telah menetapkan Kondisi Lain.

“Pembelian kembali saham Perseroan juga memberikan fleksibilitas bagi Perseroan dalam mengelola modal jangka panjang dimana saham treasuri dapat dijual di masa yang akan datang dengan nilai yang optimal jika Perseroan memerlukan penambahan modal,” terang manajemen MTEL.

Ditambahkan, jika semua dana yang alokasikan tadi dibelanjakan semua maka aset perseroan menyusut menjadi Rp56,481 triliun, dari Rp57,481 triliun per 31 Maret 2022.

Untuk diketahui sejak IPO pada 22 November 2021, MTEL telah turun 23 persen selama 6 bulan perdagangan bursa. Hingga perdagangan sesi I hari ini MTEL berada pada level Rp685 per saham
