EmitenNews.com – Iman Rachman menyandang Direktur Utama Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Ya, bersama enam kolega lainnya, Rachman akan membidani BEI periode 2022-2026. Rachman akan bahu membahu untuk menyulap pamor BEI makin mengilap.

Siapa Rachman? pria kelahiran Jakarta, 31 Mei 1972 itu, menempuh pendidikan sarjana di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Jawa Barat pada 1995. Kemudian, menggondol gelar Master of Business Administration in Finance dari Leeds University Business School, Leeds, West Yorkshire, Inggris edisi 1997.

Rachman pernah berkarier di PT Danareksa Sekuritas sejak 1998-2003. Ia sempat menjabat Direktur Perbankan Investasi PT Mandiri Sekuritas periode 2003-2016. Lalu, Direktur Keuangan PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II periode 2016-2018, dan Direktur Keuangan  PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III edisi 2018-2019.

Direktur Strategi, Portofolio, dan Pengembangan Usaha PT Pertamina. Sebelum masuk jajaran direksi Pertamina, posisi terakhir Rachman Direktur Utama PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (PPA) periode 2019-2020.

Pekerjaan rumah Rachman Cs soal literasi keuangan. Maklum, tingkat literasi masyarakat akan pasar modal sangat minim. Betul jumlah investor mencapai 9 juta. Namun, itu belum seberapa dibanding populasi Indonesia.

Kemudian, direksi baru harus bisa membangun ekosistem berbasis business friendly. Lalu, mendorong regulasi dengan kepastian hukum bagi masyarakat luas, dan pelaku usaha. (*)
