Matahari (LPPF) Minta Restu Buy Back Rp1 Triliun

EmitenNews.com – PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) akan memperpanjang masa pembelian kembali atau buy back saham beredar di publik dengan menyiapkan dana Rp1 triliun. Aksi korporasi ini akan dilasakanakan dalam rentang 18 bulan sejak persetujuan pemodal dalam Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Tahunan (RUPST) tanggal 29 Maret 2023.

Dalam keterangan resminya Senin (20/2/2023) Miranti Hadisusilo Corporate Secretary & Legal Director Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) menungkapkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelian kembali saham merupakan salah satu bentuk usaha untuk meningkatkan nilai pemegang saham Perseroan.

Sebaliknnya, bagi perseroan rencana ini akan memberikan keleluasan  yang besar kepada perseroan dalam mengelola modal untuk mencapai struktur permodalan yang lebih efisien.

“Perseroan mencatat laba bersih per saham Perseroan per tanggal 31 Desember 2022 sebesar Rp351 juta, sedangkan proforma laba bersih per saham apabila Pembelian Kembali Saham dilaksanakan dengan asumsi jumlah pembelian kembali saham dilakukan dalam jumlah maksimum adalah Rp447 juta,” papar manajemen LPPF.

Manajemen Matahari melaporkan, aksi korporasi ini akan dilasakanakan dalam rentang 18 bulan sejak persetujuan pemodal dalam Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Tahunan (RUPST) tanggal 29 Maret 2023.

Padahal 6 Juni 2022 pemodal LPPF telah memberi lampu hijau untuk membeli kembali saham publik dengan nilai yang sama selama 18 bulan. Tapi LPPF menghentikan buy back sejak tanggal 28 Maret 2023, tanpa menerangkan jumlah saham perseroan yang telah dibeli kembali. ***
