Medco Energi alokasikan US$ 325 juta untuk belanja modal migas dan kelistrikan

JAKARTA – PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) mengalokasikan belanja modal kisaran US$ 325 juta untuk mendongkrak performance perusahaaan pasca merampungkan akuisisi sahamm ConocoPhilips Indonesia Holding Ltd (CIHL) dari Phillips International Invetments Inc.

Siendy K Wisandana, Sekretaris Perusahaan PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) menyampaikan belanja modal masing-masing dialokasikan untuk minyak dan gas (migas) US$ 275 juta dan kelistrikan US$ 50 juta. “Panduan pro forma Medco Energi 2022 pasca transaksi yakni, produksi migas 155 mboedpd (milion barrel oil of equivalent per day), penjualan listrik 3.500 Giga Watt Hour (GWh) dan biaya produksi migas per unit di bawah US$ 10 per boe (barrel oil ekuivalen),” katanya dalam keterbukaan informasi dikutip Jumat (4/3).

Menurut dia, kebutuhan belanja modal itu akan mengoptimalkan produksi migas dari lapangan migas Medco Energi di Sumatra Selatan, termasuk dari wilayah Corridor PSC di Sumatra Selatan.

Disampaikannya CHIL memiliki sepenuhnya saham ConocoPhillipps (Grissik) Ltd (CPGL), operator Corridor PSC dengan kepemilikan 54% working interest dan 35% interest di Transasia Pipeline Company Pvt Ltd (Transasia). Corridor PSC memiliki dua lapangan minyak dan tujuh lapangan produksi gas di onshore Sumatra Selatan dekat dengan wilayah operasi Medco Energi di Sumatra Selatan.

“Akuisisi itu sesuai strategis Medco Energi terkait kepemilikan dan pengembangan aset berkualitas tinggi guna perolehan kas yang positif,” katanya. (LK)
