Medco Energi berencana mempercepat pelunasan 2 obligasi

JAKARTA. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) akan mempercepat pelunasan Obligasi Berkelanjutan II MEDC Tahap IV dan Tahap V yang diterbitkan pada 2017 lalu.

Siendy K. Wisadana, Corporate Secretary MEDC, menjelaskan perseroan akan meminta persetujuan dari pemegang obligasi terkait dengan rencana tersebut. Selanjutnya, perseroan akan menggelar Rapat Umum Pemegang Obligasi pada 11 Maret 2022 mendatang di Jakarta.

Menurut data idnfinancials.com, obligasi Tahap IV yang akan dilunasi oleh MEDC memiliki jumlah pokok Rp900 miliar. Obligasi ini ditawarkan dalam 3 seri, dengan bunga tertinggi 11,8% per tahun dan tenor terpanjang selama 7 tahun.

Sementara itu obligasi Tahap V MEDC memiliki jumlah pokok Rp1,08 triliun. Obligasi ini juga ditawarkan dalam 3 seri dengan bunga tertinggi 11,3% per tahun.

MEDC menggunakan dana hasil penerbitan obligasi Tahap IV dan V untuk tujuan yang sama. Sekitar 60% dari hasil penerbitan masing-masing obligasi dialokasikan untuk pembayaran sebagian utang dan sisanya untuk belanja modal.

Menurut data idnfinancials.com, MEDC memiliki kas dan setara kas sebesar US$482,26 juta per 30 September 2021. Sementara itu total aset perseroan tercatat sebanyak US$5,28 miliar. (KR)
