Merdeka Gold (MDKA) Lunasi Obligasi Rp971,91 Miliar, Ini Sumber Dananya

EmitenNews.com – Merdeka Copper Gold (MDKA) melunasi obligasi Rp971,91 miliar. Dana itu, terdiri dari pokok obligasi sebesar Rp959 miliar, dan bunga eeempat obligasi senilai Rp12,91 miliar. Obligasi tersebut jatuh tempo pada Rabu, 15 Maret 2023.

Dana pelunasan itu telah dibayarkan kepada pemegang obligasi oleh Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) pada 15 Maret 2023. Sumber pendanaan untuk melunasi pokok, dan membayar bunga keempat obligasi dari dana hasil penerbitan obligasi berkelanjutan IV Merdeka Copper Gold Tahap I Tahun 2022.

”Tujuan pelaksanaan transaksi tersebut agar perseroan dapat melakukan pelunasan pokok, dan pembayaran bunga keempat dari obligasi yang telah jatuh tempo tersebut,” tulis Adi Adriansyah Sjoekri, Corporate Secretary Merdeka Copper Gold. 

Menyusul pelunasan atas pokok, dan pembayaran bunga obligasi tersebut, seluruh kewajiban perseroan atas obligasi tersebut telah berakhir. Selanjutnya, tidak ada dampak material lain atas pelunasan pokok, dan bunga keempat Obligasi terhadap kegiatan operasional, hukum, kondisi keuangan, atau kelangsungan usaha perseroan. (*)
