Persediaan Sempat Tersendat, Berikut Penjelasan Mandom Indonesia (TCID)

EmitenNews.com – Mandom Indonesia (TCID) mengalami fluktuasi persediaan sejak 31 Desember 2020 hingga 30 September 2022. Fluktuasi itu, karena kondisi pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan permintaan konsumen menyusut.

Penurunan permintaan konsumen itu, tersebab pemberlakuan kebijakan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB), dan pemberlakukan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat (PPKM). Penerapan PSBB, dan PPKM membuat kegiatan, dan mobilisasi manusia dibatasi, dan protokol kesehatan ketat.

Di samping itu, terjadi kelangkaan pasokan bahan baku karena penerapan kebijakan lockdown mayoritas negara-negara dunia yang berujung pembatasan proses logistik global. Beragam faktor itu, membuat volume produksi terkoreksi, dan persediaan ikut menurun. Sepanjang pandemi Covid-19, kondisi pasar dipenuhi ketidakpastian.

Kondisi itu, memaksa perseroan berusaha untuk memberi respon cepat terhadap segala perubahan agar dapat menjaga stabilitas ketersediaan produk di pasar. ”Selama edisi 2017-2019, persedian melimpah mengikuti pertumbuhan bisnis,” tulis Alia Dewi, Corporate Secretary Mandom Indonesia. 

Pendapatan perseroan mulai turun signifikan pada 2020-2021 sebagai dampak Covid-19. Kinerja penjualan pasar domestik sangat dipengaruhi perubahan perilaku konsumen. Selam pandemi, mobilitas masyarakat dibatasi seiring penerapan PSBB, dan PPKM seluruh pelosok Indonesia. 

Situasi dan kondisi tersebut berdampak pada kebutuhan konsumen yang lebih memprioritaskan kebutuhan pokok, dan produk kesehatan. Pembatasan kegiatan, dan mobilisasi masyarakat itu, juga membuat jumlah kunjungan konsumen ke toko makin menyusut.

Sementara, penurunan penjualan ekspor sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi masing-masing negara tujuan ekspor yang juga menghadapi dampak pandemi Covid-19. Lalu, ada kendala distribusi logistik global akibat kelangkaan kontainer/port congestion. ”Namun, pada 2022, perseroan mulai mencatat pemulihan pendapatan,” tegas Alia. (*)
