Sah, United Tractors (UNTR) Genggam 31,49% Saham Arkora Hydro (ARKO)

JAKARTA, investor.id – PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) melalui PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN) telah resmi menambah 21,61% saham PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO).

Sekretaris Perusahaan UNTR Sara K Loebis menjelaskan, pada 18 Agustus 2022, seluruh persyaratan pendahuluan dalam perjanjian jual beli saham bersyarat telah terpenuhi dan EPN telah melakukan pembayaran kepada ACEI Singapore Holding Private Ltd (ACEI).

“Dengan demikian EPN telah efektif memiliki 21,61% saham dalam Arkora sejak tanggal tersebut,” jelas Sara dalam keterbukaan informasi dikutip Jumat (19/8/2022).

Dengan demikian, lanjut Sara, sejak tanggal penyelesaian atas persyaratan pendahuluan dalam conditional shares sale and purchase agreement (CSPA) tersebut di atas, EPN telah memiliki saham di Arkora secara langsung dan tidak langsung  sebesar 922.173.893 saham atau setara dengan 31,49%.

Sebelumnya, dijelaskan Sara bahwa langkah strategis United Tractors dalam diversifikasi bisnis melalui pembelian 632.801.893 saham senilai Rp 176,55 miliar atau setara dengan 21,61% saham milik ACEI pada PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) ini merupakan wujud dari komitmen perusahaan untuk menerapkan prinsip ESG dalam ekspansi bisnisnya serta memperkuat posisi United Tractors dalam bisnis berkelanjutan.

Investasi United Tractors pada Arkora sejalan dengan strategi pengembangan usaha perseroan, lanjut Sara, di mana perseroan telah menetapkan bisnis energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT) sebagai salah satu strategi transisi di bidang energi untuk menuju bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Investasi ini merupakan salah satu bentuk ekspansi yang mengedepankan penciptaan nilai tambah guna memenuhi kebutuhan seluruh pemangku kepentingan perseroan dan memberikan dampak baik untuk masyarakat dan lingkungan.
