Tenang! IUPK Tambang Batubara Indika Energy (INDY) Melar Sampai 2033

EmitenNews.com—PT Kideco Jaya Agung, anak usaha PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) melaporkan memperoleh Izin Usaha Pertambangan Khusus (IUPK) sebagai Kelanjutan Operasi Kontrak/Perjanjian dari Menteri Investasi/Kepala Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal Republik Indonesia atas nama Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Republik Indonesia tertanggal 16 Desember 2022.

Mengutip keterangan resmi emiten energi itu pada laman Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), Rabu (25/1) bahwa IUPK diberikan dengan jangka waktu sampai dengan tanggal 13 Maret 2033 dan dapat diperpanjang sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan.

“Penerbitan IUPK ini berdampak baik terhadap Kideco serta Perseroan,” tulis manajemen INDY.

Mengutip laman INDY, disebutkan bahwa Kideco Jaya Agung melakukan penambangan batu bara terbuka di atas lahan konsesi seluas 50.921 hektar di Kabupaten Paser, Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia.

Kideco memegang hak pertambangan batu bara sampai tahun 2023 di bawah Perjanjian Karya Pengusahaan Pertambangan Batubara (PKP2B) generasi pertama.

Saat ini, Kideco mengoperasikan lima wilayah konsesi dengan menggunakan metode pertambangan terbuka, dengan cadangan batu bara potensial dan terbukti diperkirakan mencapai 651 juta ton dan sumber daya batu bara diperkirakan mencapai 1.376 juta ton.

Kideco memproduksi batu bara sub-bituminous dengan kandungan sulfur, abu, dan nitrogen yang rendah sehingga ramah lingkungan untuk digunakan sebagai pembangkit listrik.

Kideco merupakan salah satu produsen batu bara dengan biaya terendah di Indonesia.
